Welcome to Dancing Books, where the magic of movement and storytelling come together!

We are delighted to announce the return of our wonderful Dancing Books project to Hammersmith and Fulham. This season, we are bringing Dancing Books to more members of our community - in addition to our established classes for children under four, we are excited to introduce new sessions specifically designed for adults 60+ (seated and standing classes) and for adults with disabilities and learning disabilities (SEND).

Dancing Books for Children under 4

Dancing Books - encourages everyone to get on their feet and get inspired about reading! The sessions are designed for children under 4 and their carers taking place directly in Libraries. Dancing Books supports the development of literacy, phonetics and inspires storytelling. Each session is delivered by an inspiring team of DanceWest teachers. DanceWest offer two sessions a week at each Library. No booking is required we do ask that you arrive in plenty of time and ready to dance!

Dancing Books for Adults (SEND)

Join us for a FREE, fun, and interactive session of Dancing Books for Adults disabilities and learning disabilities! Let's get moving and be inspired by the magic of reading together.

Dancing Books encourages everyone to get on their feet and get inspired about reading! These sessions are designed specifically for adults with disabilities and learning disabilities and take place directly in libraries. Dancing Books promotes literacy skills, phonetics, and inspires creativity and storytelling.

No booking is required, but we do ask that you arrive in plenty of time and ready to dance!

Dancing Books for Adults (60+)

Stay active and engaged with Dancing Books! This free, interactive session is perfect for adults aged 60+, offering both seated and standing options. Join us as we interpret texts through movement, exploring stories and poems in a new and dynamic way.

Each session is delivered by an inspiring team of DanceWest teachers, who will guide you through the process of bringing literature to life through dance.

No booking is required, but we do ask that you arrive in plenty of time and ready to dance.
