Join us on Saturday 16 March for a Tea Dance with a Twist for a jubilant and joyous afternoon of live music and dance. Crossing continents and generations with live flamenco from Strictly’s Sam Quy, swinging jazz led by Vera Lynn’s pianist Jack Honeyborne, dance-theatre from Sadlers Well’s duo Thick and Tight, performances from Company of Elders, DanceWest’s Youth Co and Bolder Not Older Dance Company. Bolder not Older is a contemporary dance company for West Londoners aged 55+, founded by DanceWest. The company meets every Friday morning and works towards high profile performances. We are recruiting for new members to join the company and participate in a performance at DanceWest's 'Tea Dance With a Twist' on Saturday 16 March. You don't need previous dance experience, but passion and enthusiasm are required.

We can’t wait to kick off our DanceWest Summer School next week! This is an exciting opportunity for 7-15 year olds to develop new skills in a huge range of dance MasterClasses delivered by industry professionals. Young people will participate in everything from Flamenco to Physical Theatre - learning original choreography and then sharing at the end of the week. The DanceWest Summer School takes place from the 23-27 July at Lyric Hammersmith.

DanceWest produced a Tea Dance for elderly residents in Hammersmith & Fulham at the Masbro Centre! The event included a short performance from the Bolder not Older Dance Company - our company for adults 55+.

In partnership with Lyric Hammersmith and Hammersmith Bid London DanceWest produced a Free Baby Disco. Taking place in Lyric Square our team engaged forty families!
